Chesapeake Bay Wellness House Opens Flagship Location in Richmond

Chesapeake Bay Wellness House celebrated the opening of its new flagship location in Richmond this week, marking the brand's largest facility to date and an expanded menu of skincare and wellness services.
A bigger vision for wellness
The new location roughly doubles the square footage of the brand's previous Richmond-area space, adding dedicated rooms for facials, massage therapy, and a new infrared sauna suite.
"We kept outgrowing our old space within a year of every renovation," the spa's owner said. "This time we built for where we actually want to be in five years, not just where we are now."
What's new on the menu
Alongside traditional spa services, the new location introduces a expanded menu of results-driven skincare treatments, including LED light therapy and medical-grade chemical peels administered by licensed estheticians.
Hiring and training
The expansion has allowed the business to hire several additional estheticians and massage therapists, many of them graduates of local cosmetology programs.
"Having a pipeline of well-trained local talent made this expansion possible," the owner said. "We didn't have to look outside the region to staff this place."
Client reaction
Longtime clients who attended the opening said they appreciated that the brand's original, more intimate service style carried over into the larger space.
Looking ahead
The company says it has no immediate plans for additional locations but will evaluate opportunities as demand for services continues to grow in the Richmond area.
